As a Central Florida-based wedding photographer who also travels for destination weddings, I’ve learned that the best celebrations are the ones that feel like the couple. That’s exactly what made Heather and Trey’s Isleworth Country Club wedding so special. It was a clear April day filled with laughter, great energy, and personal touches that made their wedding feel like them.
If you’re considering an Isleworth Country Club wedding, their day shows how this Central Florida venue offers a great setting for a relaxed and stylish celebration.

Heather and Trey live in San Francisco now, but both grew up in Orlando. Coming back home to get married surrounded by their closest friends and family was meaningful for them. The entire wedding day had a relaxed, upbeat energy that matched their personalities perfectly.
From the moment they arrived at the venue, you could feel the excitement. They chose to get ready at Isleworth, which made for a smooth, stress-free start to the day. The getting-ready spaces were calm and well-lit, ideal for capturing those early moments with family and the wedding party.

Before the ceremony, Heather and Trey had a first look under the archway at the club’s main building. It was one of the most genuine moments of the day—they were clearly just excited to see each other. The archway and surrounding area offered natural shade and structure, which helped create clean, timeless portraits.
We took more couple portraits around the club, using the lakefront, golf course paths, and shaded walkways to get a mix of backdrops. Every spot gave us something a little different without needing to go far.

Heather didn’t go with a traditional matching dress setup for her bridesmaids. Instead, each wore a different color that fit into a coordinated palette. It gave the group photos a lot of personality and movement. It also worked well with the floral arrangements from Bluegrass Chic, which pulled together soft and bold colors in a really natural way.
The guys kept things classic and clean, which balanced the look perfectly. Together, the wedding party looked put-together but not overdone, just right for the relaxed, elegant vibe of the day.

The weather couldn’t have been better! With sunshine and a light breeze, it was the kind of day photographers hope for. Their ceremony took place outside on The Lawn, one of Isleworth’s few ceremony three locations, beneath a row of tall trees, which offered beautiful, even lighting and a little privacy from the main areas of the club.
The ceremony itself was heartfelt but lighthearted, just like the couple. Guests laughed, cried, and cheered as Heather and Trey said their vows. The setting felt private and tucked away, yet still grand in its scale.

The reception was held indoors at the club, in their Grand Ballroom space, with high ceilings and lots of room for dancing. The decor was creative and fun: disco balls hanging from above, vines draped throughout the space, and a champagne tower that served as both a photo moment and a fun start to the evening.
Tables were filled with colorful florals and simple place settings that let the flowers shine. Everything felt intentional but not overly styled. The energy stayed high through the night, with plenty of dancing, toasts, and laughter. Their boat send-off at the end of the night was the perfect way to end the celebration: unique, easy, and totally them!

Isleworth Golf & Country Club is a private, 600-acre community set along the Butler Chain of Lakes. The Mediterranean-style clubhouse sits at the center of the property, surrounded by water views, towering trees, and well-kept gardens. It’s quiet, scenic, and feels like a hidden retreat in the middle of Central Florida.
Couples have multiple ceremony and reception options depending on the size and style of the day:
Isleworth also has on-site catering with flexible menus, a full service staff, and amenities like valet service and dressing rooms. From a photography standpoint, the shaded outdoor ceremony space provides soft, natural light, while the grounds and architecture offer a variety of scenic backdrops for portraits. The reception areas, whether indoors or out, are well-lit and simple enough to let your personal style and details stand out.
Whether you want something small and simple or a larger celebration with lots of detail, Isleworth gives you space and flexibility to make it your own.
Weddings at Isleworth are considered a premium experience, and pricing reflects the high level of service, food, and amenities offered. Isleworth Golf & Country Club is a private community, so you generally need a member sponsor or connection to host a wedding there, as they cater to members and their guests for special events, offering a prestigious, exclusive setting.
Here’s a quick breakdown:
Each wedding includes a custom wedding cake designed by Isleworth’s Executive Pastry Chef and a menu tailored by their in-house culinary team. The venue requires a minimum of 100 guests, though smaller weddings may be accommodated upon request.
Working with a professional planner like Anna Christine Events can help ensure your budget is used effectively while maximizing the venue’s offerings.
